Being organized for the 30th time, CBME Turkey International Mother and Baby Equipment Trade Fair is opened in Istanbul by the Minister of Economy Mustafa Elitaş alongside children. Our Vice President Sami Herman was also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Minister of Economy and other notable politic figures.
Being the only trade fair focusing on mother and baby products in Eurasia to adopt the concept of having both corporate and retail halls, CBME Turkey took place between January 13 and 17 at Istanbul CNR Expo Center occupying an area of 37 thousand square meters with 370 companies, 750 brands, and 14 thousand visitors from 100 different countries.
“Strollers, baby car seats, and accessories,” “Baby and infant clothing and accessories,” “Baby and infant shoes,” “Mother and pregnant clothing, underwear, and accessories,” “Toys, bicycles, and educational products,” “Baby care and personal care products,” “Health and nutritional products,” “Service companies” are brought under the same roof by CBME Turkey for five days. A certain amount of ticket revenue received by CBME Turkey International Mother and Baby Equipment Trade Fair Istanbul will be donated to Tohum Autism Association which aims to integrate autistic children into the society.
As BAGIDER, we exchanged ideas with our members and other companies in the industry at our booth. On January 16, BAGIDER administrative board members and approximately 30 company directors met for brunch at Radisson Blue Hotel Sefaköy. Apart from the companies based in Istanbul, our guests from various cities of Turkey such as Izmir and Gaziantep shared their sectoral problems and expectations with BAGIDER members. Overall ideas and requests have been noted by the administration of BAGIDER throughout the meeting.
